Director of Rehabilitation

Lauren Vesper, OTR/L

Lauren Vesper is the director of rehabilitation at UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital – North. In this role since June 2024, Lauren oversees the development of the therapy team in order to achieve successful patient outcomes by implementing evidence-based practices, acquiring and maintaining equipment and technology and ensuring the therapy team’s culture aligns with the key results and core values of the hospital.

With nearly 10 years of experience in the inpatient rehabilitation setting, Lauren began her career an occupational therapist at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in West Orange, New Jersey on the spinal cord injury floor. She also spent seven years as therapy manager and clinical specialist at Riverside Rehabilitation Hospital in Yorktown, Virginia. Lauren is board-certified in physical rehabilitation through the American Occupational Therapy Association and maintains her Medical Rehabilitation Management Certification. 

A graduate of Seton Hall University, Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral Sciences and a master’s degree in occupational therapy.
